My journey into illustration began unexpectedly during a graphic design class in 7th grade at Carson Middle School in Colorado. Although I wasn’t initially drawn to it, diving into Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign opened up a world of creative possibilities, with Illustrator quickly becoming my favorite tool. The following year, I eagerly returned to the class, immersing myself in various projects, including designing cards to recognize exceptional student behavior. These experiences laid the groundwork for my growing passion for graphic design and visual communication. Upon moving to Washington and enrolling in Timberline High School, my creative pursuits expanded as I began designing posters, shirts, and even crafting custom gear for my recreational soccer team. Each project served as a milestone for my evolving skills and interest in design. Through numerous projects over the years, I’ve honed my craft and deepened my interest in graphic design. The joy of bringing ideas to life and the satisfaction of receiving positive feedback have fueled my ambition to pursue a career in the field. As of today, I am in designing marketing materials, branding for my podcast, and continually pushing the boundaries of my graphic design abilities. My journey from a middle school classroom to the present is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the transformative nature of my creative expression.

Tip Top Tea Talk

The podcast Tip Top Tea Talk was a fun passion project some friends and I had. We got to share and talk about what was on our minds and this was a fun creative outlet for me.

Social Media Marketing

Being the Social Media Marketer for Dining Services at SPU, taught me a lot about marketing and designing for a broad audience. I also learned how to make designs that are more flexible and can be displayed in a multitude of sizes and displays.
