Hi, my name is Brianna Ingram. I grew up in Auburn, Washington and I’ve always loved creative storytelling. When I was younger, my favorite hobby was to direct, edit, and star in music videos of me and my friends. I loved putting colorful filters on each clip and coming up with the sequence of shots to best tell the unique story of the song through my 10-year-old lens. Looking back, I was way too intense about it (and it’s a miracle I still have those childhood friends), but it’s truly amazing to be able to see where my passion for visuals and motion design began. I went into college having no idea what I would pursue because I had the best dilemma: I enjoy too many things. I love music, science, acting, writing, math, cooking, painting, you name it. But, once I discovered graphic design my freshman year of college, I immediately knew it was the perfect route for me. For one, I have always recognized the value of visual aesthetics in engaging people, but most of all, I love the opportunity design thinking gives me to use my logic and problem solving skills. I also have a love for learning, so the ever-shifting trends, technologies, and needs of the industry excite me. I aspire to be a visual and motion designer working in business-to-consumer advertising. I love to work with organic forms, vibrant colors, and incorporate mixed media processes when developing graphic assets, so I would love to be a part of creating commercials and other ads that are bold, eye-catching, colorful, and witty.

Freeform Creative Exploration Box

I created the Freeform Creative Exploration Box to make an intentional experience for those who do creative work to recharge from how draining and pressure-filled it can be to create solely for monetization. This monthly subscription box is designed to give space for creatives to experiment, play, and fail freely. It will include prompts (ex. purposely create 3 pieces of “bad” art) and provide artistic mediums (ex. clay, pastels, beading) to help creatives try new things, get out of their comfort zone, and remember how fun creating with no constraints is.

PACT Protein Packaging

I had the opportunity to develop a brand identity and packaging design for a new protein square business, PACT protein. The goal was to communicate that the squares are packed with protein and made with real ingredients while still having a great taste similar to your favorite sweet treat. The client wanted to cater towards a younger health-concious, active demographic in a fun, laid-back, and inclusive way. To help visually communicate that, I created brand assets for them including a custom lettermark, pattern, illustrations, and iconography.
